THE wonderful setting of the Redeemer Church was packed last Thursday night for the gala concert presented by the students and staff of Dún Lughaidh Secondary School.

And they certainly were not disappointed as the concert title of 'Feeling Good' left everyone feeling just like that at the end.

There was a great buzz around the school in the days leading up to the concert as the final preparations were put in place to make sure that everything would be just right on the night.

It all paid off on the night in a concert that was a celebration of all the different types of music which are enjoyed by both students and staff of the school.

Several past students of Dún Lughaidh also joined in to play a part in the concert, and all were delighted that Fr Padraig Keenan, Adm, Redeemer Parish gave them permission to stage it in the Redeemer Church, which proved an ideal venue.

'We have a great history of music here and felt it was time to showcase that,' says Siobhán Greer, principal of the school.

A great night, which gave an ideal platform to show off the wonderful musical talent in the school and left everybody looking forward to the next concert.
