Birthday girl Janine enjoys a brilliant 21st
WE MADE our way to Oriel Park on Friday night for what was easily one of the best parties of the weekend!
It was Janine Renaghan from Ravensdale's 21st and there to make sure she had a fantastic night were her parents Paula and Jim, brothers Cormac and Pauric, granny Annie Renaghan from Haggardstown as well as Baxter and a huge collection of family and friends.
I first met up with birthday girl Janine who was looking stunning in her gold dress. She told me she wanted a mention for Dearbhla Mcdonald from Ravensdale and to thank everyone for coming.
I met up with Janine's uncle and aunt, Tommy and Briege Renaghan from Haggardstown, who were there with their kids Rachel and Evanna. Not too long later I caught up with Shannon Moran from Bay Estate who was with Lyndsey Culleton from Kilkerley and Ciara Soraghan from Dunmahon who all wanted to say: 'Rawwr, we love you, from the Wolf Pack'.
After this, I met up with Eddie Rafferty from Ravensdale, Richard Mcgee from Irishgrange and Malcolm Thornton from Ballagan who told me they are all mates of Janine's and, over at another table, I got talking to Ann and Aidan Lennon from Jenkinstown who are family friends.
Not too long later, I then got a word with Helen Culleton from Kilkerley and Evelyn Shevlin from Knockbridge who are family friends.
They told me it was going to be a fantastic party and also in their company were aunty Regina Cleary and her son Aaron, who were up from Tullamore with Aaron's girlfriend Sharlyn Donoghue, Regina's daughter Ríona and her boyfriend Daniel Thomas.
They were having a totally mad night with Michael and Briege Mckevitt from Edentubber and Geraldine Keenan from Riverstown who wanted to wish their 'cuz' all the best on her big night!
I then met up with Giovanna Morris from Ravensdale and Dallan Mchugh from Darver, who are mates of Janine's, and I then caught up with cousins Gavin and Maria Douglas, both from Ardee, who were with Ronan O'hagan and Elaine Quigley, both from Ravensdale, and Joe Flanagan from Drogheda.
Not too long later, I met up with Orlaith Carroll and Jack Mcgrath, both from Dublin, and I then got a word with Jim Culleton from Kilkerley, whose wife Helen is Janine's godmother, and he was having a laugh with Anthony Tuite from Haggardstown and Mark Kelly from Blackrock.
After this, I headed over for a chat with Eimear Brady from Clonee who was with Aisling O'reilly from Ratoath.
They are both collegemates of Janine's in DKIT doing Business, although Aisling is also following a singing career and has an excellent song called 'Stay' on You Tube, well worth a viewing.
Not too far away I then got talking to Rihanna Rust from Knockbridge, Ciara Soraghan from Haggardstown, Lyndsey Culleton from Kilkerley, and Eimear Quigley.
I then met Brendan Traynor from Point Road, Sinead Lynch from Bishop's Court, Jenny Durnin from Railway Terrace, Brian Begley from Bay Estate, Leanne Kieran from Laurel Grove who told me it was a massive night.
Next, I had the pleasure of talking to Sinead Mckenna from Mount Avenue and Emma Quinn from Louth Village who were schoolmates of Janine's, and after this I got talking to Janine's sister Laura who was up for a major night of fun with Patricia Toner from Bellurgan and Claire Renaghan from Haggardstown.
Finally, I caught up with Janine's favourite godfather Paul Renaghan from Haggardstown who was with his wife Janet and they were going to make sure it was a fantastic night for the birthday girl.
