Family seek help to find Benji
A Heart-broken family are leaving no stone unturned in the search for their missing dog Benji, an 11-year-old golden Cocker Spaniel.
They have made dozens of posters and have turned to facebook in a bid to find their missing pet.
Benji has been missing for five weeks after he escaped from his minder at Louth Village in late October.
'He made his way to Dundalk over two weeks but was unable to find his way home,' says Michael Mullin, Ard na Mara, Blackrock.
Benji was seen in the Ice House Hill, Cox's Demense and Fatima over the next two weeks but there have been no reported sightings since then.
'We hope he is still alive but time is running out for him,' says his devastated owner. ' He is frightened, cold and hungry. If anyone seems him, please offer him some food and contact 085 7483994 or call the dog pound at 9382398.'
