Louth ladies book All-Ireland final date
LOUTH ladies bridged a 12year gap in Emyvale on Saturday by seeing off a strong Derry side to reach their first All-Ireland final since the victorious 1998 side. After last year's Leinster final success, the Reds looked set for a year of re-building with a number of established stars hanging up their boots, but Dermot Agnew used the National League to blood his new crop and it all paid off on Saturday when they booked their place in the final with a hard-fought three-point win over the Oak Leaf.
Rock grind out a win against gutsy Marsh
PREMIER new boys Marsh Celtic, mauled 6-0 by Carrick the previous week, would hardly have looked forward to facing reigning champions Rock Celtic at Sandy Lane last Thursday.
Dundalk out to end losing run
WITH his side desperately in need of a win, Ian Foster's Dundalk take on bottom club Bray at home on Friday just three points adrift of the relegation play-off placings. They have a game in hand which incidentally is also against Bray - away from home - but are seven matches without a win, with their last victory on July 5th against neighbours Drogheda, who lie second from the bottom.

Woodview continue hot scoring streak
WOODVIEW have made a dream start to the MDL Premier Division, with straight wins from two of the most difficult away assignments they will face. They are also in free-scoring from, none more so than former Dundalk player Mickey O'Kane who has contributed half of their 10-goal tally, including a hat-trick in this topsy-turvy encounter. The visitors twice opened a two-goal lead, only to be pegged back both times by last year's runners-up, replacing Woodview who lost out to Rock Celtic in the final game of the season.
