Chamber event another classic!
THE Dundalk Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic is one of the most well established and popular golf classics in the North East region and this year's Annual Golf Classic was held on Friday 27th August in the Dundalk Golf Club, Blackrock.

BETTY Rogers, Gret Manning and Rita Kelly take the coveted first three prizes in this week 18 hole stroke competition sponsored by RQ O'Neill.

THE annual Fr Cullen Prize was hosted by Ardee Golf Club on Monday, August 23rd. Golfer of the Year: Green tees, Ryan Collins; Yellow tees, Killian Byrne; Girls, Shannon Breagy; ten-hole boys, Liam Travers; ten-hole girls, Orlaith Healy; five-hole boys, Jonathan Commins; five-hole girls, Alishea Mahennis; threehole boys, Killian Keenan; three-hole girls, Rachel Larney.
Great score wins fun scramble event
ON Thursday we had our usual Stapleford Competition coming in 1st on a great score of 40pts was Anne King, 2nd on 39pts Joan Corrigan and 3rd on 36pts was Kaitriona C Sloan.
Superb conditions for Lumpers event
LUMPERS Golf Society recently held an outing at Ardee Golf Club, where the format was a singles stableford competition. The course was presented in excellent condition, with the good weather making for an enjoyable round of golf.

THE annual Byrne / McNulty Shield was played recently in beautiful weather at Greenore, and with the course in great condition, scoring was competitive among the large turnout.
